SendFriend Blockchain Firm Receives $1.7M Fund from MIT Media Lab

A blockchain start-up based in New York, SendFriend have recently received $1.7 million of funding in pre-seeding from the MIT Media Lab. The start-up which specializes in international money transfer to the Philippines said, “Our service is different because we are the only company there to leverage a blockchain technology in a commercial, regulatory compliant way.”
